Manning now has thrown 11 Pro Bowl touchdown passes, four more than any quarterback in NFL history. Manning this season set NFL records with 49 touchdown passes and a 121.1 passer rating. Manning's first touchdown pass came on a 62-yard pass to Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, playing in his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl.

Harrison, who caught two passes for 66 yards, now has five Pro Bowl touchdowns, tying Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith for the all-time Pro Bowl record.

On the AFC's next possession, Manning capped a four-play, 69-yard drive with a 41-yard pass to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward.

Manning played the AFC's first four possessions, and after four consecutive incomplete passes, the first drive ended with a punt. Manning did not miss on the ensuing three possessions, all of which ended in touchdowns.

On his last possession, Manning threw 12 yards to San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates to give the AFC a 28-7 lead.

The NFC rallied to make it 31-27 with 9:04 remaining, but Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson's 4-yard run with 5:15 remaining secured the AFC victory
